Why it exists
Talking with a friend, she complained that Ticketmaster charges around 50 pesos per ticket for SafeTix, which in the end is just a code that rotates. I told her I could build one in fifteen minutes. It took an hour, all prompts to ChatGPT, but I got it working.
Every 15 seconds it signs a JWT token and draws it as a QR code; an endpoint verifies it and won't let it be reused. I knew nothing about servers, but I wanted to show her, so I put it online with ngrok. Later I wanted each QR to show a different meme, and that's where it stopped.
It was the first time I saw that AI could already make something visual, even if it was just a QR code. My earlier school projects were all console commands. Then my Object-Oriented Programming final project came out of three prompts, and from then on I knew AI was going to change the game.
