AmortizaCore simulator: parameters for a 50,000 loan over 24 months, a summary with a 2,744.42 monthly payment, total interest and a final 0.17 adjustment, and the amortization schedule below.
The loan simulator: the Rust core does the math, and the last payment adjusts the cents so the balance closes at exactly $0.00.

Why it exists

The core computes amortization schedules with fixed-point integer math, so rounding errors never pile up, and moves every loan through a 10-state machine with waterfall accounting. On top sits a web portal to simulate loans, check repayment capacity and record payments.

It's with the same professor from my quant days, and it follows the Rational Unified Process, so it doubles as a software quality exercise.
